| Virginia Tradesman Education Requirement Journeymen and Master Electricians are required by the Virginia Board of Contractors to take three (3) hours of continuing education specific to their trade as part of the licensing application process. This Continuing Education class will cover the following topics as they relate to Electricians:
- new definitions
- code changes
- general requirements
- impacts on the job
- general use

All classes are recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and the Virginia Board of Contractors.
Certificates of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be issued to all Virginia tradesmen upon successful completion of the class. A workbook highlighting the changes is included in the cost of each class and will be distributed when participants arrive for class.
