Individuals desiring to work as a tradesman in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) must obtain a license in accordance with Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations. This includes installation, alteration and repair of HVAC systems and incidental equipment. This course will assist those preparing to take the exam by providing a review of material that one might expect to see on the exam.
The following technical references are encouraged for the prep class, but not mandatory. Keep in mind, these are the same references that you will be able to bring with you for the actual journeyman license exam. A good place to purchase these references is on Amazon.com or you may be able to borrow them from an employer or friend. Plan to register for the journeyman exam soon after you complete this prep class.
