Join us for a one-day, in-depth study of the National Electrical code with an experienced Electrical Inspector. This class is a MUST for all electricians, especially those that want to prep for their journeyman/master exam or those that need to further their understanding of the code as it relates to: Grounding & Bonding, Wiring Methods & Materials, Conductors for General Wiring, Motor & Controls. This specialized training class covers bonding and grounding services, electrical equipment, sizing of bonding jumpers, equipment grounding conductors, sizing equipment grounding conductors. General wiring requirements article 300 and conductors for general wiring, article 310, conduit fill calculations, voltage drop calculations, Motors & control sizing of conductors, disconnects and thermal overloads for motors and air conditioning equipment are often misunderstood and misapplied in the electrical industry. Attendees will participate in working calculations for sizing conductors, disconnects, conduit fill and motor circuits. This class counts for Tradesmen’s continuing education requirements for DPOR and the continuing education requirements for Inspectors and Engineers for DHCD.
