“All trades programs require new students entering Level 1 Trades classes to attend the Career Assessment Session.  During this four hour session, students will get an overview of their trades program and learn about the traditional yearlong and accelerated class delivery formats.  Students will then undergo an assessment to determine the best program to suite their individual paths for success.  This will ensure that all students are best prepared to be successful in all 4 levels of their respective trades classes, and successfully complete the entire program.  During the assessment, students will have the opportunity to earn a WorkKeys credential.  The WorkKeys credential is a job skills assessment system that helps employers develop a high -performance workforce and assists students to achieve career success. This is a separate 4 hour class registration at zero cost for students.”
