Phlebotomy Technicians collect samples from patients for laboratory tests in a skillful, safe, and reliable manner. This class will be filled with practical hands on experience so that you will be prepared for a successful future as a phlebotomist. If all of the requirements are met, an externship will be available. Books and supplies are included in the class. After completing all of the requirements needed, you will be able to sit for a national certification. Please read:  I am enrolling in this class as part of the New Economy Workforce Credential Grant Program (WCG). As a condition to receiving a grant, I agree to the following terms and conditions as specified on this site: WCG Release Form. This class will be eligible for FastForward funding after July 1, 2018; however you can pre-register for this class by contacting/visiting our office to complete the FastForward paperwork. Workforce Solutions will contact those who have completed the pre-registration for payment information the first week of July to complete the registration process. If your employer is paying for this class, please ask them to contact us to complete a Third Party Billing Authorization. Additionally, if you are paying for this class personally and are concerned that you cannot afford your 1/3 portion, you may be eligible for financial assistance if you meet the guidelines for financial aid.
