In this course, you will learn how to create, maintain, and file medical charts. You will also master the basics of scheduling patients' appointments. Other topics included in this class are ethical and legal considerations, billing and coding, reading medical documents, medical insurance, and clinic management. Upon course completion, you will be qualified to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
