The world of the future belongs to…robots! In this cutting edge class students will learn the fundamentals of motorized mechanisms, design principles, sensors, and sound activation. Separate fact from fantasy by designing and building prototypes of task oriented robots. Learn problem-solving to improve how their robots function in a series of design challenges! Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.   Ages: 8-14

Notice

Please read:  STUDENT INFORMATION FORM: Parent or Guardian must bring the student to the first class for additional information. Please print out and complete the Youth Camp Student Information form and bring the completed form to the first class. If your child has a medical condition that requires special care or requires a learning accommodation, this form must be brought or mailed to the Workforce Solutions Office a minimum of a week prior to the class. Some classes may also require that student and parent/guardian complete the Student Conduct Form and Assumption of Risk at the first class.
