CNC Programming Basics

This course will provide an introduction to the programming, setup and operation of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. Students will be introduced to basic CNC operation, setup, and programming. General machine shop safety will be reinforced with a focus on safety procedures that pertain specifically to CNC machines.
Students who register for this class must be experienced with manual mill and lathe machines or have taken the following classes: Mechanical Schematics Drawing/Reading and Metal Machining-Lathe/Milling.
