This Guns 101: A Beginner's Guide to Buying and Owning Firearms course will explore the major types of firearms-how to handle them and their purposes. Taking this course will provide enough information to enable students to make a decision on which type of firearm may be right for them. Also included in this class is a guide to how to manage your firearm; from carrying and firing, to storing your firearm. This class, offered by our accredited school partners, will give students an introduction on where to shoot your gun and the types of competitions you may want to participate in. Instructor Description: This class is an independent-study course.  Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material.  A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.

Internet Access

Broadband or high-speed internet access is required. Broadband includes DSL, cable, and wireless connections.
Dial-Up internet connections will result in a diminished online experience. Moodle pages may load slowly and viewing large audio and video files may not be possible.

Windows hardware configurations and processors are acceptable
Mac computers MUST have Microsoft Window Operating Systems over Bootcamp (Bootcamp is a free download from Apple''s website)
