Harassment and bullying are the most prevalent forms of workplace discrimination. The increased publicity of high-profile harassment situations proves that a culture change is needed in workplaces across the United States. Companies and organizations should shift their focus towards inclusion, nondiscriminatory practices, and harassment-free cultures in order to draw teams closer and create a more desirable place to work. This courses gives an in-depth overview to better understand the need to gain this focus through defining harassment and bullying, discussing and diffusing stereotypes, and taking a closer look at the legal sides of sexual harassment and anti-discrimination laws. When we focus on respect and inclusion, it is less likely we will offend each other.
